The DramaNext guide
What Beast Tamer of the Wild Mountains is about
Chen Lie is reborn, returning to the desperate moment when his wife and daughter are hounded by debt collectors. On the brink of death, he awakens the Beast-Taming Mountain-Ranging System and gains the talent of Ten-Thousand Beast Pacts. He forms contracts with wild beasts by feeding them to share their vision.
It runs 70 short episodes on HappyShort and leans on marriage drama, contract relationship and second chance tropes, with each episode ending on a hook.
Is it worth watching?
Watch it for a marriage that starts on the wrong foot and has to be earned. On top of that: the moment a deal stops being just a deal.
The whole series takes roughly 1–3 hours, so it's an easy binge.
