What Abyssal Horror: The Pirate King’s Ruin is about
Maeve, granted a second chance at life, joins an expedition to the Pirate King’s ruins, already knowing the deadly trap set by the deep-sea kraken. Facing the greedy and suicidal betrayal of her ex-boyfriend and former best friend, she teams up with the Sterling siblings to survive by any means.
FlickReels released it as 14 bite-size episodes mixing revenge and second chance, made to watch on a phone in one sitting or a few.
Is it worth watching?
Watch it for the slow build to a payback that lands hard. On top of that: a lead who knows how it went wrong last time and plays it differently.
At about 17–31 minutes in total, it's quicker to finish than most full-length series.
