The DramaNext guide
What A Fated Encounter is about
Emma is forced to marry in place of her half sister in order to get her dad to continue paying her mom's medical bills. Everyone thought she was marrying an old, ugly, rich man, but it turns out to be the handsome Tommy, black sheep of the Anderson family. Tommy develops a soft spot for Emma, secretly supporting her career and protecting her when she needs it.
ReelShort released it as 71 bite-size episodes mixing billionaire and secret identity, made to watch on a phone in one sitting or a few.
Is it worth watching?
If you came for billionaire, the payoff is the hidden-wealth reveals and the people who misjudged the lead. On top of that: waiting for the truth about who the lead really is to come out.
The whole series takes roughly 1–3 hours, so it's an easy binge.
On ReelShort it has 52.2M views, so plenty of people have already watched it.
