The DramaNext guide
What Scheming Merman Guardian of Lord Coral is about
Pure‑blood deep‑sea princess Calista has a three‑hundred‑year‑old engagement to her playboy fiancé Tristan. The heir to the sea royal family Xavier has loved her in secret for five hundred years. He plots carefully to drive the couple apart. He exposes Tristan’s infidelity, saves Calista right after her fiancé drugs her, and enters a sacred bond with her.
HappyShort released it as 60 bite-size episodes mixing billionaire, marriage drama and secret identity, made to watch on a phone in one sitting or a few.
Is it worth watching?
Watch it for the hidden-wealth reveals and the people who misjudged the lead. On top of that: a marriage that starts on the wrong foot and has to be earned.
The whole series takes roughly 1–2 hours, so it's an easy binge.
How to watch it
