No one knows that five years ago Leora—the girl he loved—fell to her death from the Moonlight Tower of Blackwood Manor in Vermont, leaving him blamed as the heartless man who ""dumped"" her. Behind his cynicism, congenital palpitations strike at night; Leora's oil painting, still his phone wallpaper, is his only guilt.
