Chloe appears to be a picky neighbor, but is actually the sharp-tongued music critic known as "The Ice Queen" — a fact completely unknown to Jax. On a night when the power goes out on the rooftop, she pretends to be an unemployed proofreader and listens to him confess his obsession with earning the Queen's recognition. She secretly helps him refine his music, and the two develop feelings for each other.
