Harper Stone, an animal husbandry graduate, visits her grandmother's rural inn and stays in her mother's childhood room. There, she discovers a thick notebook titled "The Guide to Winning a Heart." After a freak accident with a falling lightbulb, Harper wakes up and finds herself transported back to the 1980s.
